Lanluma X — poly-L-lactic acid collagen stimulator

Lanluma X is an injectable collagen stimulator based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), used specifically for volumisation and skin rejuvenation. It is suitable both for treating individual wrinkles and for large areas such as the buttocks, thighs or décolleté. By stimulating the body's own collagen production, Lanluma X achieves natural-looking results with an exceptionally long effect duration of up to 24 months.

Composition

• 630 mg poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA)
• Carboxymethylcellulose
• Mannitol
• Reconstitution with 40 ml sterile water

Indications

Lanluma X is indicated for:

• Volumisation of a flat or lax buttock
• Improvement of skin firmness and texture
• Reduction of cellulite and dimples
• Treatment of moderate to deep wrinkles
• Correction of atrophy, lipoatrophy and postpartum changes
• Use on the décolleté, arms, thighs, neck, hands, jawline, chin, cheek area and nasolabial folds

Application

Lanluma X comes as a dry substance and must be reconstituted before treatment. First, remove the tear-off cap from the vial and clean the pierceable stopper with an antiseptic. Then, using an 18G needle, slowly inject 15 ml of sterile water into the powder. The vial is shaken for 10 minutes and then left to stand for one hour to ensure complete hydration. Before use, the solution is shaken well again until an even clarity is achieved. In addition, a further 4 ml of sterile water is added before each injection. The injection is administered exclusively subcutaneously or intradermally. After treatment, the treated area should be massaged carefully to ensure even distribution of the product. Slight redness, swelling or bruising may occur. To avoid unwanted contours, it is recommended to massage the treated sites five times a day for five minutes each.

Duration of results

The effect sets in gradually over 2–3 months and lasts up to 24 months. A touch-up treatment can be performed after this period.
