Lanluma V — collagen-stimulating filler based on poly-L-lactic acid

Lanluma V is an injectable collagen stimulator for subcutaneous use, based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which specifically activates the body's own collagen production. Developed by the manufacturer Sinclair, Lanluma V is suitable both for treating individual wrinkles and for gaining volume in larger areas. Unlike classic hyaluronic fillers, Lanluma V does not work through volume filling but through the natural regeneration of the tissue — for firmer, smoother and more youthful skin with a particularly long-lasting effect.

Application

Lanluma V comes in powder form and must be reconstituted before use. To do this, remove the vial cap and clean the stopper antiseptically. Using an 18G needle, slowly inject 15 ml of sterile water into the powder. The mixture is shaken for 10 minutes and then left to rest for one hour to ensure complete hydration. From this point the solution is usable for 72 hours. Before each use, the solution is shaken well again until an even consistency is achieved. An additional 4 ml of sterile water is added. The injection is administered exclusively subcutaneously or dermally with a cannula of at least 26G. After the injection, the treated area should be massaged carefully to ensure even distribution. For optimal results the manufacturer recommends 1–3 treatments, depending on the treatment area. First visible results appear after about 2 months. After treatment, it is recommended to massage the treated sites five times a day for five minutes each to avoid contour irregularities. A follow-up examination can take place no earlier than 4 weeks later.

Duration of results

The effect of Lanluma V usually lasts 18 to 24 months. The duration may be influenced by factors such as age, skin type, lifestyle and injection technique.
