Description
Juvederm Voluma is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler from Allergan, produced with Vycross technology that combines high- and low-molecular-weight HA in a smooth, viscoelastic gel.
Manufacturer indications centre on restoring midface and cheek volume and correcting facial asymmetry. It contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride for patient comfort. Per the manufacturer, it is not intended for the eyelids, under-eye area or lips.
Juvederm Voluma is a Class III medical device for administration by qualified practitioners only. Anna's Cosmetics supplies it to licensed injectors; effects are temporary as the hyaluronic acid is biodegradable.
